Welcome to the Midwest Flag Football League!

Our leagues are partnered with NFL FLAG.  What does that mean?  All players will get a NFL Flag jersey, flags with registration and be part of the largest flag football organization in the USA.   Families can also purchase additional NFL Flag gear that match the team their son or daughter are assigned to.  Two items that are required: no pocket shorts and a mouthguard for every game and practice.

What to Expect

• Expect your child to have a blast!
• 5 v 5 Game format.
• Season is 7 weeks long either on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the league.
  
• Season usually starts on the second weekend of April and ends the first weekend of June.   There will be no practice or games on Memorial Day Weekend. 
• Teams will be formed by School/City then buddy requests.
• We strive to have teams with 10 or fewer kids.  For Pre K/K level we tend to have more kids per team than other divisions.
  
• Registration numbers determine how grades are divided.  
• Volunteer Coaches are needed!  We would like 2 coaches per team only.  MFF will provide coaches training on rules and league play training as needed.
• Games are two 24 minute running halves.  
• Practice and Games are on the same day.  Practices are scheduled for 1 hour before the game.
• Standings at the end of season will determine seeding in the league tournament.
• Expect Excellent customer service from the MFF team.

What makes us different

• We strive to have 2 trained officials for all games. We feel that by having two officals, it's not only going to make the game play better but also safer.
• We will have a medical staff member on site while the league is in session.
• League Director will be onsite.
• All divisions will have an end of season tournament.
• Professional Photographer will take action photos on one league day and be free for whoever would like to take off our Facebook page.
• League teams will have access to our National Competitive Youth Flag Football Tournaments.
• MFF will have tent on site and have items for purchase in case your child needs or forget something.
